She graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Law. She subsequently completed her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and European Law, with a specialisation in Corporate and Competition Law, at the University of Amsterdam, where her thesis examined the approaches of national competition authorities and the European Commission to sustainability agreements under Article 101 TFEU. Following her legal internship at the Istanbul Bar Association, Ms. Tunçer practised in the competition law departments of leading Istanbul law firms, where she advised both domestic and multinational clients on merger control filings, behavioural investigations, and compliance matters before the Turkish Competition Authority. She subsequently served as in-house legal counsel to an EU-registered agri-tech startup, advising on corporate governance, cross-border commercial arrangements, and GDPR and KVKK compliance. Bilgesu is currently pursuing qualification as a Solicitor of England and Wales, having successfully passed the SQE1 assessment. Bilgesu, who has an IELTS score of 8.5, has a good command of English. Her areas of expertise are Commercial Law, Company Law and Competition Law.
